These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of stamptheory.com ("StampTheory", "the site", "we"). By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
StampTheory is operated by an individual publisher based in India.
What StampTheory Is (and Is Not)
StampTheory is an informational platform that aggregates and structures publicly available visa information for Indian passport holders. It is a research and planning aid.
StampTheory is NOT a visa agency, immigration consultancy, law firm, or government body. We do not submit applications, represent applicants, or communicate with embassies on anyone's behalf. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, immigration, or professional advice, and no advisor-client relationship is created by your use of the site.
Accuracy of Information — No Warranty
We verify visa information against official government and embassy sources on a documented refresh cycle, and each country page displays its last verification date. However, visa policies change frequently and without notice.
The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, currency, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Our Disclaimer applies in full and forms part of these Terms. You must independently verify all requirements with the official government source before acting.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StampTheory shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss or damage — including visa refusals or delays, missed travel, financial loss, or loss of opportunity — arising from or connected to your use of the site or reliance on its content.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, and given that access to the site's information is provided free of charge, total aggregate liability shall be limited to INR 1,000. Every visa, travel, and financial decision you make remains entirely at your own risk.
Third-Party Links and Creator Content
Country pages link to official embassy, government, and visa-processing portals as a convenience. We check these links periodically but do not control them, and a link is not an endorsement.
Creator profiles and reel links may be paid placements or curated editorial picks, and are marked as featured where applicable. Creator content reflects the views of its creators, not of StampTheory. We do not verify claims made in creator content, and travel decisions should not be based solely on it.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract the site's data for republication or resale; (b) misrepresent StampTheory content as official government information; (c) use the site to transmit malware, probe or disrupt our infrastructure, or attempt unauthorized access to any account or system; (d) frame or mirror the site in a way that obscures its source.
Reasonable personal, non-commercial use — including saving or printing checklists for your own travel — is welcome.
Intellectual Property
The StampTheory name, logo, page designs, editorial content, structured checklists, and compiled database are the intellectual property of StampTheory. Underlying government visa requirements are public information; our selection, verification, structure, and presentation of them are not.
You may share links to any page. Republishing substantial portions of the content requires prior written permission.
Future Paid Features
The core visa database is currently free to use. If subscription or other paid features are introduced, they will be governed by additional terms presented at the point of purchase — including pricing, billing, cancellation, and refund policy — which will supplement these Terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
Severability and Changes
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
We may update these Terms at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
