Application must be completed online while applicant is OUTSIDE Albania's territory

Visa fee payment must be made within 15 days of application notification, or application will be automatically refused

Payment must be via bank transfer with printed receipt signed and stamped by bank employee; online transactions and screenshots are not accepted

Processing takes minimum 15 working days, up to 30 working days for exceptional cases

All documents must be scanned properly and uploaded in PDF format; non-English/Albanian documents must be translated and certified

Obtaining e-Visa does NOT guarantee entry; border authorities retain right to refuse entry

Applicants with dual citizenship must declare which passport will be used for travel; e-Visa is invalid if travel document differs from registered passport

If visa is rejected, applicant may appeal within 5 working days to visa@mfa.gov.al; if appeal unsuccessful, must reapply 3 months after initial rejection

e-Visa is digitally signed and sent by email; applicant must possess it at border crossing on entry and exit

Application must be submitted within 90 days of intended travel date; applications submitted more than 90 days before travel will be refused
