Indian nationals holding valid US B1/B2, B2, J, B1, O, P (P1, P2, P3), E, or H-1B visa, or Green Card can enter Argentina visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days (effective August 28, 2025). US visa/Green Card must have minimum 90 days validity from entry date

Visa exemption applies to tourism purposes only. Non-tourist purposes require consular visa

Apply via email FIRST (visas_eindi@mrecic.gov.ar) for document verification; appointment is scheduled only after documents pass review

Maharashtra residents must apply at the Argentine Consulate General in Mumbai (Nariman Point, Chander Mukhi Building, 10th Floor) — not New Delhi

All documents must be notarized/apostilled where specified and translated to Spanish (translations do not need to be notarized unless otherwise stated)

Documents must NOT be stapled or punched — use U-pins. Back-to-back printouts (including bank statements) are NOT accepted

Tourist visa is FREE for Indian nationals under bilateral agreement — no consular fee. Other visa categories may carry fees that are mandatory to start the process and non-refundable on denial

Visa stamping takes up to 3 working days after the interview. Urgent 24-hour processing (+40 USD) is available ONLY for transitory visas, not tourist visas

COVID-19 and Yellow Fever vaccinations are NOT required for Indian citizens entering Argentina

Fulfilling documentation requirements does not guarantee visa issuance; it is at the exclusive discretion of the Argentine State
