Maharashtra residents must apply at the Argentine Consulate General in Mumbai (Nariman Point, Chander Mukhi Building, 10th Floor) — not New Delhi
All documents must be notarized/apostilled where specified and translated to Spanish (translations do not need to be notarized unless otherwise stated)
Documents must NOT be stapled or punched — use U-pins. Back-to-back printouts (including bank statements) are NOT accepted
Tourist visa is FREE for Indian nationals under bilateral agreement — no consular fee. Other visa categories may carry fees that are mandatory to start the process and non-refundable on denial
Visa stamping takes up to 3 working days after the interview. Urgent 24-hour processing (+40 USD) is available ONLY for transitory visas, not tourist visas
COVID-19 and Yellow Fever vaccinations are NOT required for Indian citizens entering Argentina
Fulfilling documentation requirements does not guarantee visa issuance; it is at the exclusive discretion of the Argentine State
