Pre-arrival registration is valid for six months and allows multiple visits to HKSAR

Information provided must exactly match the specific Indian passport used for registration

Registration is not required for direct air transit not leaving airport transit area

Registration is not applicable to those with right of abode, right to land, unconditional stay, or valid permission for employment, study or residence in HKSAR

Holders of valid Indian diplomatic/official passport, UN Laissez Passer, e-Channel service enrolment, valid HKSAR Travel Pass, or valid entry visa do not require pre-arrival registration

Operating aircrew, operating seacrew, and contract seamen do not require pre-arrival registration

Applicants must truthfully enter correct information matching passport exactly

If passport is renewed or replaced, or personal particulars change, registrant must re-apply with new passport or particulars

Failure to present both the notification slip and valid linked passport will result in refusal of boarding and entry to HKSAR

Notification slip is not a guarantee of entry; registrant remains subject to normal immigration requirements and immigration control

Applicants intending to stay longer than 14 days or for purposes other than visit must apply for appropriate visa to ImmD directly

Chinese diplomatic and consular missions will not accept visit visa applications from Indian nationals

Anyone making false statements knowingly and wilfully may be prosecuted under Laws of Hong Kong

Personal data may be transferred to third parties outside HKSAR where data protection laws may not be substantially similar to Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance
